The small group sizes of max. 18 children for the groups and only 9 to 10 children for the Nesthäkchen means it is possible to handle the children personally and also to take account of individual differences in the various age groups.
Through this, the teachers can help the younger children overcome the strong sense of personal attachment which they may have and develop a feeling of security in them.
